Vintage Energy and joint venture partner Comet Ridge Limited (ASX: COI) are pleased to announce that the Comet Ridge – Vintage Deeps (CRVD) Joint Venture (JV) in the eastern Galilee Basin has recorded a stabilised gas flowrate of 230,000 scf/d (standard cubic feet per day) across a 13 metre interval in the Lake Galilee Sandstone (LGS) Reservoir from 2582 to 2595 metres at its Albany-1 well. The JV believes that this gas flow is the first measurable flow of natural gas from the Lake Galilee Sandstone in the Galilee Basin.More info
Vintage Energy and joint venture partner Comet Ridge Limited (ASX:COI) are pleased to provide an update on the drilling operations ongoing at the vertical Albany 1 conventional appraisal well in the Galilee Basin.
At 0600 hrs this morning, the nitrogen drilling equipment was rigged up and was being pressure tested at surface with the plan of running in hole with the 6-1/8” bit and drilling assembly later today to commence drilling of the Lake Galilee Sandstone target section.
The total depth (TD) of the well is prognosed to be approximately 2775 metres.More info
Vintage Energy is very pleased to announce that it has entered into a binding Heads of Agreement with subsidiaries of Beach Energy Ltd to enter into a fully termed Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire a 100% working interest in EP 126 in the onshore Bonaparte Basin. Consideration for the acquisition will be the assumption by Vintage Energy of all obligations associated with the permit, including abandonment of the Cullen-1 exploration well, drilled in 2014. Final completion is conditional upon Vintage being granted approval to list on the Australian Securities Exchange and Ministerial consent being obtained.More info

At 0600 hours this morning, the 8-1/2” intermediate hole section had been drilled through to the base of the Jericho Formation, just above the target Lake Galilee Sandstone reservoir, at 2470 metres.
